We ensure that all employees have access to and wear appropriate PPE, as well as conduct weekly "toolbox talks" on job sites to maintain a safe, alert working environment. Experience Modification Rating
Gatch Electrical has a strong commitment to safety. Our Experience Modification Rating (EMR) has averaged a .77 over the last ten years. An EMR, also known as a Mod-Factor or Mod-Rating, is an annual calculation used by insurance companies to determine the cost of workers' compensation premiums. It reflects a variety of inputs, such as injury costs or claim history, and offers a prediction of future risk. A rating below 1.0 is considered good, indicating a relatively safe contractor. Our low EMR not only demonstrates our commitment to safety, but also helps us to maintain lower insurance costs and be more competitive in the industry.
